Hello and welcome!

I’m Susan, a proud mum and grandma, with a wealth of life experience that enriches my ability to create and lead meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies.

My journey to becoming a celebrant began after attending the funeral of a friend’s mum, which was unlike anything I had experienced before. The service, led by a celebrant, was deeply personal, filled with warmth, laughter, and heartfelt memories—a true reflection of her vibrant personality. It was both uplifting and emotional, leaving everyone not just mourning her loss but celebrating the joy of having known her. That moment inspired me to become a celebrant, dedicated to crafting ceremonies that truly honour and reflect each individual.

I trained with UKSOC, a leading provider of celebrant training, and have never looked back. Being a part of life’s most significant moments is an honour and privilege. Whether it’s:

• Welcoming a new baby into the family with a heartfelt naming ceremony,

More Than a Celebrant – A Supportive Guide

In addition to being a celebrant, I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, which allows me to help with pre-ceremony nerves and support those who may feel anxious about speaking on the day.

Where I Work

I am based in Bury, Bolton, and Manchester, but I also travel further afield to ensure everyone has access to a personalised and meaningful ceremony.
